In the thirties, any hobo or boomer worth his salt had a moniker. Thus, this trashy little website has a name too.
This site contains news of my O Scale model railroad, GNRHS articles, Great Northern artwork, and pictures of my friends' layouts. Check New the second stop on the 'track diagram' menu bar below, for the latest changes and postings to this site. In the LAYOUT section, the third stop, you'll find a description of the model railway, a trackplan, recent pictures, and a look back at the previous layout. More will be added as the ol' pike gets built. At the ARTICLES stop I've posted summaries of each of the I've written for the Great Northern Railway Historical Society. At the ARTWORK stop, you'll find examples of GN menus, timetables, chinaware, calenders, shippers' fruit lables, and other items mostly from the 1890 - 1929 period. The FRIENDS stop features my pal's O scale layouts and a few pix from 2006 and 2007 O Scale West. Finally, the LINKS stop lists a few favorite sites.
